I’ve completed my enrollment application. How long will it take for Security Benefit to set up my account?
You can expect your account to be ready in 1- 3 business days. At that time, we recommend you create a Security Benefit profile to manage your retirement plan. You can create your profile online or through the Security Benefit app, available in the Apple Store or Google Play.
When will my paycheck contributions show up in my account?
For an IRA, your contributions will start no earlier than the first day of the month following the month you enrolled. For 403(b)(7) accounts, it will depend on your salary reduction agreement with your employer. You will want to contact your school district business office to determine timing for contributions.
Can I change my paycheck contributions?
For a 403(b)(7) account, you will need to connect with your school district business office to change your contribution amount. For an IRA, please contact customer service: 1-800-747-3942.
How can I change my investment allocations?
Once your enrollment is complete, you can manage your investment options through your profile on SecurityBenefit.com or through the mobile app. Download the Security Benefit app through the Apple store or Google Play.
What if I want to change my beneficiary?
