Getting Started

Step 1: Get Appointed
You must first get appointed to sell a Security Benefit fixed, fixed index, or variable annuity. Once you are appointed, you will receive a welcome email to guide you through your first sale. Appointment is not required to sell Mutual Fund Custodial Products.

Step 2: Register for an account on SecurityBenefit.com
SecurityBenefit.com gives you access to:
- View and manage your clients’ accounts
- Obtain client-approved presentations and sales ideas and order materials to help you build your brand and strengthen relationships with your clients
- Subscribe to email notifications to stay informed about product updates and receive bi-weekly rate updates for fixed and fixed index annuities

Step 3: Review suitability and compliance requirements
We also offer resources on Advertising Policies and Procedures, Anti-money Laundering Training, NAIC Suitability Model Requirements, and RegEd training.

Step 4: Submit Business in Good Order
At Security Benefit, we have the same goals for each new business application you write. Follow our In Good Order Guidelines to assure each new business application is complete and processed by us in the specified time.
